Applications are open on a rolling basis. Book a call with the HoI team — we’ll figure out together whether the Fellowship is the right fit, and which track makes sense.
01 — Before you apply
Are you the right fit?
A short, honest check. We’d rather you self-select out than spend a cycle finding out the fit isn’t there.
Not on the list? Write to us anyway — exceptions happen.
- 01 You’re currently enrolled at an IIT, NIT, or other premier institution defined by HoI.
- 02 You’re in your second year of college or above. Earlier years are welcome to introduce themselves — we’ll stay in touch.
- 03 You can treat this as your primary building endeavour during the fellowship. Not a side project.
- 04 You’re comfortable with HoI holding IP and operational control of the venture. The equity option for you is post-college.
- 05 You actually want to build something. Not just to have the title of having tried.

03 — How the conversation works
Three stages. No slides. No theatrics.
We want to understand how you think. The process is structured so you can show that without preparation overhead.
Stage 01
Application
A structured written application, specific to the idea or track. We want your thinking.
Stage 02
Problem Deep-Dive
A focused conversation with the HoI team. We go deep on the problem and your approach.
Stage 03
Decision
Go/no-go within a defined window. If selected, a Fellowship Agreement covering stipend, IP, equity, and post-college option.
04 — Book a call
A 30-minute conversation, on your timezone.

Calls are held over Google Meet. We’ll send the link when you confirm.
